It seems like only yesterday, it was the first annual MTV O Awards, well it was, as they are having it twice in one year. The awards recognizes recording artists in the area of digital music on the internet, also incorporating social networking in its categories. As was to be expected, YouTube star, Justin Bieber, has been nominated for awards. Bieber is up against the usual suspects, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.

Side Bar: At the last MTV O Awards, Kanye West won the prize for "Best Tweets" on Twitter. Somebody at MTV must be smoking something. Kanye? "Best Tweets"? More like "Best Crazy Tweets."

A few days ago, Knowles was photographed unaware on a yacht, once again sporting a flat stomach, in stark contrast to the MTV Awards. A number of prominent blogs are accusing her of playing on public sympathy with a fake pregnancy, to prop up a flopped album, with some even going so far as to state, Knowles is using a surrogate in attempting to fool audiences.

25-year-old Casey Anthony, was acquitted of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony, in a verdict that has sparked outrage in America. Anthony smiled in the court room upon hearing the news, but many in the nation and around the world, gasped in horror and shed tears, for a defenseless child that died due to her mother's misconduct.

The internet erupted in death threats against Anthony, so much so, she has been placed in protective custody. Anthony, was however, convicted of four minor charges regarding lying to the police. Justice was not served. The evidence was so incriminating.

Dating Site To Members: All Ugly People Must Go!

A dating website called beautifulpeople.com has been sending out notices to people deemed too "ugly" to look at, informing them they have been dumped from the site for their uncanny ability to make mirrors crack. Website spokesman Greg Hodge told the press, "We have to stick to our founding principles of only accepting beautiful people. That's what our members have paid for. We can't just sweep 30,000 ugly people under the carpet."

Did you read that: "We can't just sweep 30,000 ugly people under the carpet." LOL. I'm not gonna pretend I didn't laugh at this story, but when you think about it, that was really mean to kick people off a website for such vain reasons. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

So, unless Gollum or Madonna registered on that site, they had no business sending out a, "You need plastic surgery because you are so homely you broke our website and drove down the hits" notices (I'm paraphrasing). What, did someone threaten them with a lawsuit for false advertising, because everyone on the site wasn't gorgeous. No one on this earth is perfect. Deal with it.
