President Obama Criticized By Democrats And Republicans For Taking Vacation During Economic Crisis

U.S. President, Barack Obama, is being criticized by both Democrats and Republicans, for going on a 10-day vacation to the luxury enclave of Martha's Vineyard. It is one of many breaks he has taken this year. Politicians are lining up to slam the move.

To add some levity to the bleak situation, the RNC has launched a website called www.obamagetaway.com which chides the president, via a series of humorous postcards about his ill-timed vacation. The funniest cards are about Vice President, Joe Biden and separately, former President Jimmy Carter. That website is so wrong (LOL).

The latest financial numbers and stats released on the U.S. economy are not pretty. Unemployment is up, the dollar is down setting record lows, more banks are closing and the stock market keeps tumbling in triple digit numbers.

Maybe Obama's time would be better spent in Washington, D.C. in the White House, working on the economy. It really wasn't a good time for a vacation, when so many people in America are suffering and can't afford one.

The 2008 financial crisis that continues to devastate the U.S. economy, has shown the nation and the world that Washington is experiencing tremendous difficulty in tackling the economic problems besetting America.

In a problem that originated with and due to the policies of former President George W. Bush and has persisted through the presidency of incumbent, Barack Obama, many people are genuinely suffering under extraordinary financial hardships that never should have happened.

The people did what was asked of them by working and paying their taxes, but due to abusive financial conduct by the corporate sector, permitted by the White House and Congress, mortgage rates were unreasonably reset to backbreaking levels, gouging millions of people into foreclosure and financial ruin. The American dream of owning one's own home has been shattered for millions, with an unprecedented number of foreclosures.

The cost of living in America also spiked, due to greedy oil companies colluding to raise the price of gas and making a fortune each quarter in doing so, with the consent of the White House and Congress. Nothing was done to stop the banks or the oil companies from overcharging people for two important services integral to modern life, which spill over into other areas of commerce, such as creating added costs for food, clothing and electronics suppliers that transport their goods using gas enabled modes of transportation.

Another issue that continues to lurk in the background are a number of massive ponzi schemes defrauding many out of their hard earned money. There have been a handful of high profile arrests, but there are quite a few fraudsters still in business, if you can call it that, as that is not commerce, but thievery, which is illegal.

Even with the painful realization of the aforementioned issues, the government has failed at every rung to remedy the serious economic problems that have dragged the U.S. economy to unprecedented lows, causing the nation and the world to lose confidence in Washington. Due to the fact that so many other global economies are intertwined with that of America, other nations and their citizens are suffering as well.

The government knows what they need to do to correct the economy, but there’s just one problem, they won’t do it. It is not politically expedient. All the government has to do is pass bipartisan legislation, making the correct budget cuts and implementing appropriate taxes on the rich, along with legislation that puts corporations in check, giving them clearly defined limits by law, regarding what they can and cannot do in the marketplace.

In view of the horrible financial crisis America is currently mired in, is it fair for President Barack Obama, to ask the public to help him meet his goal of raising an unprecedented $1 billion dollars in campaign donations, for his 2012 reelection bid. This move lacks the sensitivity, consideration, austerity and economic prudence, a president should have under the circumstances.

Americans have lost their jobs, homes and life savings. Many are suffering during the current financial depression, in trying to make ends meet and put food on the table. In light of these facts, should President Obama really be soliciting such enormous campaign donations, during a financial crisis he helped to make much worse than it was in 2008, when he was elected.

President Obama has irresponsibly absolved himself of all responsibility in the financial crisis that he has greatly worsened, opting to meddle in the Middle East, rather than focusing on more pressing matters at home - the U.S. economy and the mass suffering transpiring in America as a result of it. His Muslim roots led him to do so, forsaking all else, such as the economy, in what is a dereliction of duty.

I was told on good authority by one of my sources responsible for some of my exclusives that President Obama orchestrated the war in Libya but asked Europe to initiate the bombing, to make it appear he only has a supporting role. An overwhelming majority of Americans want no part in the war in Libya and want the nation's resources pulled from the bloody venture that has killed innocent civilians.

To show how hypocritical the war in Libya is, President Obama has given millions in funding to a group of rebels that admit they are Al Qaeda. If an American citizen had done such a thing they would have been arrested, charged with treason and "providing material support to terrorists." Just tell the truth, as some in Congress have, you invaded Libya for oil and to undemocratically install who you want in office, not the people.

America is swimming in national debt, due to the deficit, which President Obama has greatly added to, more than any other president in U.S. history, yet he has started another war that is costing the nation billions it can't afford. This conduct is highly irresponsible, illogical and not to mention, illegal, as he had no mandate to invade Libya, bomb and kill two of the head of state's children and two of his underage grandchildren.

And anyone who can stand up and say it was right and appropriate to bomb civilians, in deeds that resulted in the deaths of underage children, you are the devil incarnate and you should hope something so horrific does not befall you and yours one day, in the name of battle, for applauding such an abhorrent thing.

Most people do not agree with Gadhafi's politics, I certainly don't, but this was not the way to go about it. You have killed his family members, civilians that did not engage you in any manner. The President is always speaking affectionately of his daughters, yet amazingly show absolutely no mercy to another man's children of the same age that perished in a horrific blaze of bombs, all in the name of an illegal war.
