Meet my man! Vanessa Hudgens kissed and cuddled new boyfriend Austin Butler as they stopped for a milkshake on Saturday night

They had been rumoured to be dating earlier this week after he was spotted leaving her house.

But now Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler have officially confirmed their relationship, by indulging in a passionate display of affection over a milkshake.

The new couple struggled to keep their hands off each other as they popped in to Bob's Big Boy diner in Burbank to grab a sweet treat in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Looking smitten with her new beau, Vanessa leaned in for a kiss and cuddle before the couple left the diner arm in arm.

But a source close to the High School Musical actress, who split from Zac Efron earlier this year, said she isn't taking her new relationship too seriously.

The insider told Hollywoodlife.com: 'It isn’t a serious thing at all. She’s having fun hooking up with him but no official relationship has flourished yet.
'It’s a friends with benefits situation.'

Yesterday, Butler, a 20-year-old Disney actor, was spotted leaving Vanessa's home in Los Angeles.

Wearing black jeans, black trainers and a printed white t-shirt, the blonde star walked out of the 22-year-old High School Musical star's house to a car parked nearby.

Austin, who once played Jamie Lynn Spears's love interest on Zoey 101, recently co-starred in the Disney movie Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure, alongside Vanessa's best friend Ashley Tisdale.

Vanessa Hudgens has been quite the chameleon lately.



Switching from grungy gym bunny to sultry seductress at the VMAs and back again, there are clearly many sides to the Sucker Punch star.



And her latest look, channeling baggy chic in Studio City seems to indicate that the actress is feeling like some chill-out time.

Wearing a long dark skirt and a fringed orange vest, Vanessa was obviously in the mood for something less constricting than the leggings which have been her item of choice recently.



She didn't even appear to be wearing a bra, but she managed to get away with the always-risky decision, even sporting a cool leather beaded necklace.



Vanessa wasn't wearing much makeup on under her huge sunnies, but the natural look suited the fresh faced star.

She also accessoised with some chunky gold rings, and purple nail varnish to add a further splash of colour.



The 22 year old had popped into Mareka Organic Food with some friends to pick up a few nutritious bites.



The healthy choice was most likely part of her new slimming regime, which she has embarked on to lose the extra pounds she gained for her role in upcoming independent movie, Gimme Shelter.

Vanessa has been combining a healthy diet with regular exercise to regain her usually svelte frame.



She has been spotted carting her yoga mat to class, and also went for a hike with her teenage sister Stella yesterday.



The actress appears to have regained some of her confidence after struggling with the short hair cut she had for Gimme Shelter.

Washington, Aug 6 : Seems like Vanessa Hudgens has moved on from her former boyfriend Zac Efron

The 22-year-old ‘High School Musical’ series star is reportedly dating Swedish guitarist Felix Rodriguez.

Hudgens was recently spotted getting hot and intense with ‘The Sounds’ star at a Hurley-sponsored party at the Shorebreak Hotel in Huntington Beach, California.

“They were full-on kissing, touching and holding each other... They were kissing for so long, they seemed like teenagers. She kept laughing and kissing him,” Contactmusic quoted an onlooker as telling Life and Style magazine.
