Democrats In Washington Are Concerned Obama Will Lose The 2012 Election

There is a move within the U.S. Democrat Party, to replace President Obama, as the official nominee in the 2012 presidential election. Republican Texas Governor, Rick Perry, is currently leading Obama in the polls and as such, Democrats are concerned he will lose the election. Some are petitioning for Hillary Clinton to run, which is a bad idea (see: Wikileaks scandal). Liberals are pushing forward, Ralph Nader, who has never commanded a sizable portion of the vote in any of the elections he has run in.

Others are searching for someone they deem a suitable Democrat, to serve as a serious challenger to President Obama. This is a clear indication the Democrats have lost confidence in President Obama and his abilities as head of state and it could not have come at a worse time for him. Some are even asking that he withdraw from the race.

In reading an article about Barack Obama, where it was claimed he is considered by some, the smartest American president in history, it made me wonder, is this true. What about George W. Bush. U.S. President, Barack Obama and his fellow Democrats in Congress are aggressively investigating married New York congressman, Anthony Weiner, over an embarrassing sexting scandal, where the politician was caught sending nude and semi-nude photos to women on the internet.

The scandal came to a head, when author and blogger, Andrew Breitbart, leaked a nude photo of Weiner's penis to the Opie and Anthony radio show. They in turn snapped a copy of the pic, according to Breitbart, without his knowledge and sent it to a website, where it went viral.

In other news, it was also revealed Weiner was privately communicating with a 17-year-old girl on the social networking site Twitter. However, a police investigation deemed nothing inappropriate occurred, as she was simply cheering on her favorite congressman.

Weiner has taken a temporary leave of absence from Congress to seek therapy for sexual addiction. However, he has refused to resign his post, much to fellow Democrats dismay, as they are worried about the 2012 election. Weiner's wife, Huma Abedin, chief-of-staff to U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, is pregnant.
